FAQs

What makes Oumya different from other cooking oils?

Oumya is small-batch, wood-pressed, and formulated to clinician-grade purity. We use no solvents, no preservatives, and no chemical enhancers. Every batch is traceable and lab-verified so you get authentic flavour plus documented purity.

What does “clinician-grade” mean?

It means our product development and testing follow standards clinicians expect: input from a clinical advisor and batch testing by accredited labs for common purity parameters. It is not a medical treatment — it’s a food made to higher transparency and testing standards.

Where do your seeds come from?

We source directly from trusted farmer partners in [Regions / States]. Each product page shows the origin district(s) for the lot you’re buying.

What is wood-pressing / lakdi ghani, and why do you use it?

Wood-pressing (lakdi ghani) is the traditional mechanical method of extracting oil at ambient temperature. It preserves aroma, key micronutrients, and the oil’s natural flavour profile without heat or chemical extraction.

Are Oumya oils refined or chemically treated?

No. Our oils are not chemically refined, deodorised or bleached. We use natural settling and fine filtration only.
